Morning Meditations – June 2021

Let the Light In

Meditation is both a gift and a lifeskill.  Most importantly, it is an experience.  Born out of the desire to allow everyone a positive meditation experience, our meditations are permissive and do not require any previous experience or knowledge.  We will explore different types of meditation in our time together. We will also practice simple breathing exercises (pranayama).  In these unusual times, selfcare is an essential part of our lives.  Support yourself and allow yourself to heal.

Aim of the Course:

  • Learn to meditate.
  • Practice simple breathing exercises (pranayama).
  • Continue to keep and cultivate a slower pace of life, a silver lining of the pandemic.
  • Release the stresses from 2020.
  • Reduce our stress levels and learn how to keep them low.
  • Experience comfort in stillness.
  • Raise our vibration to heal ourselves and the planet.
  • Start the day with intention, focus & selfcare & experience the impact on the day ahead.

Twice a week for 30mins over 3 weeks.

Monday & Thursday – 630am to 700am – on ZOOM.

 Week one – 7/6, 10/6.

Week two – 14/6, 17/6.

Week three – 21/6, 24/6.

You do not need to be physically present for the meditations.

All sessions are recorded and a copy will be emailed to you.

Yin Yoga and Sound Meditation – 14 May 2021

YIN YOGA and CRYSTAL BOWL SOUND MEDITATION

14 May 2021 – 6-8pm – LIVE F2f in Studio.

YIN YOGA: 55mins

Yin yoga is a gentle, slow-paced and mostly floor-based form of yoga, where yoga poses (asanas) are held for a longer period of time to stimulate the deeper layers of connective tissue, manly our fascia.
You will be invited to let go of all muscular effort and be supported by bolsters, blocks and blankets. You will feel a stretch-like sensation that varies in intensity depending on your own personal preference and physical state of being.

We will soften our breath to soften our body and calm and quiet our mind.

This is a wonderfully relaxing and flexibility increasing style of yoga.

CRYSTAL BOWL SOUND MEDITATION: 50mins

As we make ourselves comfortable either sitting or lying down, we continue to completely let go of all sensation, thought or worry and allow the week that was to simply be as it was.  And drift into the weekend with ease and joy.

Completely immersed in the sound and vibrations of the crystal singing bowls, we will experience deep healing and relaxation.

No yoga, or meditation experience is required.

COST: $50

Our monthly meditation workshops are an effective way to explore different ways of meditation, spot meditation and mindfulness. You can immediately apply what you’ve learned into your day-to-day life. No meditation nor yoga experience is necessary. Everybody is welcome.
