Moving into the light – 5 Questions to Pivot into a Meaningful Second Half of 2026

Take time in July for some quiet self-reflection.

Now that we have passed the winter solstice and the light returns, it is a perfect time to ask ourselves if our current focus still aligns with our values, needs, and desires.

These reflection questions and journal prompts will help you pivot into your true purpose.

Remember to pause and let the answers rise from your body, then engage your intellect—some things must be felt, not thought.

  1. What is something you choose to celebrate from the first half of 2026?

What happened that delighted you?  What was a useful surprise?  What did you navigate well?  What’s an achievement you haven’t recognised yet? Celebrate each one.

  1. What is something that you consciously leave behind?

You won’t repeat it.  You won’t dwell on it.  You have outgrown it. You will leave it in the first part of 2026.  Tie a ribbon around it and let it be.

  1. What is something you want to cultivate?

Either cultivate more of or cultivate afresh.  A new hobby, a new habit, a new experience.

If your mind wouldn’t judge, what would you want to do.

  1. What would need to be there for you to have lived a satisfying, meaningful and purposeful life?

Imagine taking your last breath. What needs to be there for you to let go peacefully? Use the innate wisdom that came up through these reflections to start cultivating this.

  1. What is your metaphor for how you want the rest of 2026 to feel and look like?

You know like “life is like a box of chocolate”.

I want the rest of 2026 to flow like a chocolate fountain. You know how when the chocolate covers the fruit perfectly.

Take your time and thank yourself for taking the time and being such a risk taker.

Don’t keep this a secret, share it with someone who you could benefit from it.

Wishing you a peaceful second part of this year.
