I just moved to the area and after a discussion with a kind neighbour who suggested The Art Of Balance, I have re-started my yoga journey and have not looked back.
Bettina has welcomed me like a local and never pushed me beyond what my body can do. My strength and flexibility is increasing, giving me confidence to go a bit deeper into some of the yoga moves.
I also like the mindfulness practices that Bettina uses to keep us safe, in the moment and ensures we get the best out of our practice.
My favourite quote of all time is “ask your body if it can do it”, especially when your body thinks it can move into certain positions.

Belynda, what was your original motivation to start yoga?
In the busy world we live in, I am looking to slow down and nurture my body, mind and spirit through yoga.
How has yoga improved your life?
I sleep better and I feel stronger mentally as well as physically.
What do you do in your spare time apart from yoga?
I walk a lot. I take my friends’ children swimming and I also enjoy cooking and catching up with friends.
What is your all-time favourite yoga pose?
Downward-facing Dog Pose!
Why do you continue your yoga journey?
I am worth the time invested through the practice of yoga.
